This direct box converts your hi-z input (1/4" phono plug) to lo-z XLR Microphone plug output in order to make your signal-to-noise ratio as low as possible. This direct box features a ground lift switch to help eliminate hums and buzzes and 2 levels of padding to help handle loud sources going into the input of the direct box.
